Recently I wrote about Arcturus, the sun of the Arcturian people.
Currently I have been reading The Hidden Keys of Arcturian Awakening. It’s written for people who are on a path of understanding more about the culture, knowledge, orientation and practices of this species, who perhaps I originated with – or spent time with during other lifetimes.
This week I read the following about an aspect of the spiritual journey called “The Dark Night of the Soul,” a human concept that is shared by extra-terrestrial species.
During this time or stage, individuals often experience:
-A sense of emptiness or loss of meaning.
-Intense questioning of long-held beliefs.
-Emotional turbulence: grief, fear, or loneliness.
-A longing for “something more,” though undefined.
Just as a seed must crack open before the
sprout can grow, the human soul must often pass
through darkness before it remembers its light.
The dark night strips away what is false so that what is real can finally be seen.
I previously mentioned the dark night of the soul. Comparing that experience to where I currently stand, I must rescind the label of my brief experience in May. Perhaps it was a harbinger of what was to come.
More recently, I have been confronted with several challenges of a personal nature.
- My very way of being was challenged. I was forced to reconsider my priorities, my goals, my established situation in this life I live.
- I faced an adversary of an uncaring nature who held power over me briefly.
- I was able to move past paralysis and discomfort and trust myself to respond in a way that was true to myself and my path.
- Close family members took a stand together against a choice I made. I was pushed away and distanced, then was censored …not allowed to speak about it.
- I didn’t respond well, felt disoriented. I alienated someone I love significantly.
- I was brought by life to question myself, prior choices that landed me where I am. Can I trust life to hold me despite a significant upset?
- I found myself mired in sorrow and self-questioning.
- Can I trust myself? Where does my balance reside? How do I recover? What is truly at stake and what is truly important?
I have been struggling to regain wellbeing and balance, to trust myself to navigate through these experiences, through a significant feeling of loss.
I am feeling a deep sadness.
I am struggling to feel supported by life during this time of uncertainty.
Here is a continuation of what I am reading:
Though painful, the dark night is ultimately a gift. It teaches surrender. It invites humility.
And most importantly, it opens the heart to the presence of guidance — whether through dreams, synchronicities, or subtle impressions of spiritual support.
In many accounts, those who endure this stage emerge with greater clarity, compassion, and resilience. They realize that the darkness was not an enemy but a teacher, preparing them for the path of awakening ahead.
I do feel a greater humility …but I have not fully surrendered. I feel a fight within me, resisting the full surrender to the spiritual support that I know is all around me.
What more is at risk?
I am willing to continue the walk of awakening …as the path is shown to me.
I am open to surrender, but do not know the steps.
