Drunvelo Melchizedek, a man of Wisdom

My friend and ally Norlen sent me an interview with Drunvelo Melchizedeck a couple of weeks ago. I aways listen to what she sends, as she is a significant director of my pathway forward into greater light and wisdom.

I initially stated that he is in indegenous man, but this is not accurate, I apologize and have corrected my prior post. He has learned from and engaged with many Native American people, as well as indigenous people and others all over the world, but his ancestry is not known to me. (He was born Bernard Perona.)

Drunvelo is a man of great kindness and love. He has much to share and he shares it with everyone …in his books, his classes, and also for free on YouTube.

I am paying attention to this man because I feel myself drawn to his passion and because I feel my being expand in response to the knowledge he shares.

He has studied with many people who he was guided to seek out. Each one had wisdom to share, and this wisdom has all congealed into the knowledge that he shares with us.

There is so much.

Drunvelo Melchizedek is a fearless warrior of these times – not in the way of battle, but in the way of showing up humbly with courage, love, and commitment.

In one YouTube talk, he tells of a 3 year global mission to physically repair what is called the Christ Consciousness Grid that now encompasses the earth about 60 ft above us. This grid allows us to move from the Mind back to the Heart, paving the way for the salvation of humanity.

So much of what he has experienced is on this level of devotion and service.

I call him a warrior because of the way he lives his life, and because of his devotion and service to Mother Earth and to humanity as a whole.

He has a great deal to teach us.

He speaks of the Merkaba – our light body, which is surprisingly large – in a video that he provides on YouTube.

A teaching video about his life is below. It’s a bit long, but there is some outstanding content. He tells of his experience, offers practies and guidance, and you cannot help but see his soul and his devotion in each moment.

He developed the beautiful Unitly Breath meditation that I cannot recommend highly enough. I have been practicing it daily since I heard it last month, and each day it is more impactful. In 10 minutes, we are deeply connected with Mother Earth, Father Sky, and God. It is uplifting and moving.

There are many more videos and he has written 5 books.

I feel I am taking a significant step forward in my personal and spiritual devvelopment through the offerings of this man. I cannot express my excitement and gratitude.

I am especially grateful for open access to the wisdom and knowledge that he provides. Many who are given or acheive this kind of sacred knowledge hold on tight and sell it – or just hold on tight.

Blessings to you in your journey forward.

A Channeled message: Bands of Being

This message was provided to a person who recieves weekly channeled messages. It was channeled specifically for her, but the message is is one that might be helpful to any of us. We all reside in places of lower and higher energies, frequencies, and vibrations at various times.

We want to describe a vision that we have of you.

You are floating along with some intention, but with great ease, in a band of color, which is up on the rooftops, a level with the lower home rooftops, one story.

It is a band of purplish-blue.

We see other bands, and they all denote certain ways of being, or feelings, or sense of oneself, or the world that one lives in, the way that one must navigate.

And so this bluish-purple is harmonious compared to some of the lower ones.

The ones at the lower level, closer to or even within the earth, are more muted hues.

They are even shadowy when one gets to a place of blame, disappointment, criticism, anger with oneself or others, sorrow.

And we are happy to see you where you are now, in a place of relative harmoniousness. However, there are also many bands above you. And oh, you are rising now into a greenish, a lovely soft green.

And it is a place of love, a place of gratitude, greater harmoniousness. And again, you raise up into a lighter yellow, that we see a light yellow, where you are elevated even more.

You have a greater trust in yourself and in your life.

Be aware that time is passing. More time than it takes to say these words.

There are pauses, and so you are spending some time in each band, and then you elevate to another band, or sometimes sink down to a lower one.

There are ways that one can rise to a higher band.

One can be at the tops of the highest trees, or one can be at the mountaintops.

And one can go even higher than this, where the colors are more golden, and white, and a bright blue, we see. They are not aligned with the chakras or the rainbows. It is various amounts of shadowiness …or your alignment with a particular color that you particularly enjoy might be very high.

And we want to say that the higher bands will find you closer to spirit. And you can enter these higher bands through meditation or prayer. You can enter these higher bands through high regard of yourself or others, or gratitude, as we mentioned before.

Sometimes singing will help one. Singing a favorite song will help one to rise up.

Forgiveness, acceptance, blessed memories, connection, heart connections with those you love.

Feeling, being in touch with your feeling of connection with spirit and even the angelic realm, creator.

Being in nature, for some, elevates one to a higher band of being. And we offer this vision so that you can choose how you want to navigate your moments.

Recognize that you always have a choice. One cannot go from the lowest to the highest, but one can climb almost as if it is a staircase.

One can climb higher and higher in various ways – by residing in joy, trust, acceptance.

We would like to see you in places of great pleasure and harmoniousness and blessing.

And this is all we have for you today.

Blessings to you

Self-righteousness

I truly believe that we are entering a new time, that our world is changing. I am coming to understand more and more that reality is not easy to understand, to pin down. Things are not as they seem. I/we seem to have been living in a fictional reality.

No – that’s not right. It’s that we somehow construct our sense of reality based on our perception of what we believe to have occured/be occurring in our lives …and around us.

We actually get to choose the reality we live in to some extent …by our perception of what is and what we align with …and how we conduct ourselves.

Mostly I feel I am aligned with the raising frequencies and vibrations. I believe in them. I hold onto these beliefs with all my heart.

(I’m sure this would sound completely crazy to my dad, who I love and respect. But he is no longer with us in the physical world.)

Today, however, I woke with a bellyache. I had gone to bed self-righteously and distant because my husband wouldn’t talk to me about an issue I was annoyed about. I realized this morning that if he had simply worded his position differently, it would have been no issue.

Is this how I want to live? Causing strife and negativity around me?

No. I want to be that person who lets small things go, who recognizes what is important – my beloved partner, that our time together be harmonious, that wakes up each morning with gratitude …rather than remorse.

The debate was so unimportant. Different ways of communicating …a minor irritation.

I missed our gentle evening time together – listening to a story and then enjoying the back porch after dark …giving him a back scratch. This is the true gold in my life.

I will apologize this morning, forgive myself, and do my best to harvest all the blessings that are here for me in this day.

Refrigerator Wisdom #3

This third and final piece of refrigerator wisdom that I have to share is the words of a song I learned in my late 20s.

I attended a weekend workshop with my first husband. It was a workshop that facilitated emotional healing. I think it was called “Opening the Heart.” It was excellent, and was a good first step in sorting myself out. I learned a few songs that stuck. Here’s one:

Just writing these word on this page is very powerful for me. This is a core song for me. It sing it every time I go to my altar, which has been every morning for quite a few years.

These words have been reassuring to me over time. They tell me that I will get to a better place “by and by.” They tell me that wisdom is available, and also simply “knowing” – that it’s in every one of us!

I fully believe the words.

This song has been a beacon of light for me for 40 years.

The Hollies sang this song, a longer version, but this is the part I hold sacred.

Refrigerator Wisdom #2

The second piece of refrigerator wisdom came straight from my husband’s brother’s refrigerator to mine. I have always assumed it was put there by his wife. We women tend to be more sentimental. Regardless, I’m sure my brother-in-law aligns with the sentiment.

This speaks volumes to me. And it has grown over time within me.

Love.

It’s perceived in so many ways.

The most important aspect of this message is that we must devote our selves to those we choose to love. I cannot think of a more important endeavor in this life. Our loved ones change and unfold as life goes on – and in response to life.

People don’t show all of themselves right away. Not because they are deceptive, but because they change. They are where they are in each moment. For example, different things are at play when one is in the business of falling in love. Charm shows up naturally. More smiles present themselves in response to feeling happy. Strong connection is on display as this love grows.

The same thing happens when a mother gives birth. She is biologically programmed to be attentive, protective, mindful, comforting, and nurturing in relation to her child. She even speaks in softer tones.

As time goes on, the person in each of those scenarios returns to the full spectrum of themselves. Their attention and focus eventually returns to the day to day aspects of life. Other responsibilities resume their position in the array of one’s life – work, shop, cook, pay bills, etc. Stress creeps back in and impacts that which began as something in a fairly tale. Love remains, but often must take a back seat to other realities.

Additionally, as life unfolds, aspects of who we are sometimes return to us …or show up surprisingly. When something happens (a birth, a job loss, buying a home, a death), we find that we carry parts of ourselves that we hadn’t known before. It may be a residual pattern from our upbringing, or it may be a new development that change has brought forward.

Meanwhile, our loved ones’ job is to expand their view and understanding of us. Compassion may be needed. Generosity might be required. Acceptance will be called forth.

The one thing we can count on is change. Being anchored in the words of this refrigerator wisdom above can help us keep our feet on the ground, remember what’s important, and call forth the inner fortitude and ability to sustain love.

I realize as I write this post that I may have to write something about leaving my first marriage.

Sigh.

Down the road.

Keeping Our Minds Supple

I’m posting this message from a daily inspiration email I receive because it aligns with my heart and soul.

(See below to explore or subscribe to DailyOM Inspiration.)

Being open-minded means that we are willing to question everything, including those things we take for granted.

A lot of people feel threatened when they are questioned about their cherished beliefs or their perception of reality. Yet questioning is what keeps our minds supple and strong. Simply settling on one way of seeing things and refusing to be open to other possibilities makes the mind rigid and generally creates a restrictive and uncomfortable atmosphere. We all know someone who refuses to budge on one or more issues, and we may have our own sacred cows that could use a little prodding. Being open-minded means that we are willing to question everything, including those things we take for granted.

A willingness to question everything, even things we are sure we are right about, can shake us out of complacency and reinvigorate our minds, opening us up to understanding people and perspectives that were once alien to us. This alone is a good reason to remain inquisitive, no matter how much experience we have or how old we get. In the Zen tradition, this willingness to question is known as beginner’s mind, and it has a way of generating possibilities we couldn’t have seen from the point of view of knowing something with certainty. The willingness to question everything doesn’t necessarily mean we don’t believe in anything at all, and it doesn’t mean we have to question every single thing in the world every minute of the day. It just means that we are humble enough to acknowledge how little we actually know about the mysterious universe we call home.

Nearly every revolutionary change in the history of human progress came about because someone questioned some time-honored belief or tradition, and in doing so, it revealed a new truth, a new way of doing things, or a new standard for ethical and moral behavior. A commitment to staying open and inquisitive in our own individual lives can lead us to new personal revolutions and truths — truths that we will hopefully, for the sake of our growth, remain open to questioning.

I hope to keep my mind supple and to be open to questioning and changing my beliefs and perspectives. I have recently experienced a fair amount of “rewiring” regarding relationships, the nature of love, the nature of reality, and more. I find I sometimes have to be figuratively “hit over the head” by reality multiple times to budge about some things I think I know.

Its my plan to remain open to new perspectives and information – not always easy!

Should Public School Offer More?

The dream I had recently about the special course for 10 year old girls has brought me to thinking about what might be lacking in our existing education system. There is SO much in life that I was unequipped to navigate with grace or wisdom when I left home.

Ideally, all the life skills we need would be learned in the home, but who tells their children about the demands and expectations of parenthood – the challenges, disciplinary options, the importance of honoring the child, of listening to them? Some of these things are taught by example. But this depends on the family. Even the specific stages that children go through would be extremely helpful for future parents to understand.

What other things are important for young adults to know?

How about going on mock interviews, learning to present themselves well, and be educated about workplace expectations and dynamics? (Be on time, be presentable, use good manners, clean up after yourself.)

Should children be taught in school about what it takes to live in partnership? Some of some basics about living with one’s chosen partner – blessings, pitfalls and all? How to communicate and navigate interpersonal challenges. (Treat your partner with kindness and carry your own weight.)

Not specific religious teachings, but …something of ethics, honesty, integrity and the skills of personal sacrifice. What it means to be the best kind of human, how to walk in personal balance, and what it means to honor others.

What if young adults were provided techniques that assist one to find inner peace – or even taught the concept of inner peace.

How fruitful would it be to have class discussions about the elements of a rewarding life – and versions of what that might be?

The differences between males and females were very confusing to me for many years. Should all children learn about the differences between the male and female of our species?

What kind of a world would we be creating if we provided this kind of knowledge in a neutral and informational way, facilitating open discussion?

I understand parents wanting to teach their own children values and I totally support that. I homeschooled my younger children for 4 years and I know the commitment, devotion, time and love that goes into it, as well as the valuable family time gained.

Interest, involvement and teachings from one’s parents is a blessing

However, in many families, public school is responsible for providing knowledge. If parents can’t read, their children are taught to read in school. If parents are uncomfortable with numbers, their children gain at least a rudimentary knowledge of the basics in school. What other information and training should be provided for a productive and satisfying life?

I consider it of a matter of great importance what children are taught. They will be the parents and neighbors and citizens and leaders of our future. They will create a future that is beyond what we can imagine. I believe we should give them all the tools we can.

Personal Expansion and Movement

I know the reason things have improved in my relationship with my son. It’s because I recognized, trusted, and acted on the guidance that showed up for me.

It was initially the love from another mother/child bond that I observed – and actually felt – that reminded me I need to support my son, my adult child.

I then shared that experience and my personal challenges/feelings with a particular friend and she had another offering for me. She suggested that I write a few sentences daily – bringing my positive relationship with my son forth …by envisioning and expressing it as an extension of my support for him. My task was to feel the  bond, the love – as I wrote a few sentences – and finding deep gratitude for the change before it even occurred.

The warm and connected response from my son was discernible almost immediately.

He called more often.

There was ease between us.

The synchronicity of this physical dimension is real.

The answers show up for all of us.

We CAN open ourselves to the information around us – and respond as guided.

Even if it feels strange. Even if we carry doubt or uncertainty.

This is how I’ve come to live my life, to simply accept and follow the wisdom that is evident in each moment of need or uncertainty. And to give thanks.

I feel a little like a crazy person writing this, but my life truly unfolds in this way. Infinitely more so if I allow the available wisdom to guide me.

Kiss the Moment

A friend sent me a post from Frank Ostaseski which brought forth delight. He writes about how he introduced the topic of mindfulness to several classes of 8th graders in a Catholic school. The title of his post is “Kiss the Moment” and here is an excerpt …

“Today, I would like to teach you how to kiss really well.” The normally apathetic eighth-graders lifted their heads and their eyes got wide as saucers. The teacher in the back of the room looked a bit alarmed and began to clear his throat to get my attention.

I continued, “When you’re kissing somebody you want to be there for the experience. You don’t want the other person looking out the window. You don’t want to be checking your phone for texts.”

“A kiss is an intimate act. At its best, it engages all of your senses. You want to be able to see, hear, smell, taste and touch in ways that are vivid, fresh and alive. Ideally you want to feel your heart fully and observe your mind with curiosity. It’s unlikely you will be able to open to these experiences if you haven’t cultivated the habit of attention. We have to learn to kiss the moment.”

For continued delight, read the entire post at the link below:

Frank Ostaseski’s primary mission is related to death and dying. If you seek support and wisdom in this realm, you may want to review some of his other writings through this link as well.

Sri Pune speaks

A friend of mine has begun to channel. She is a soft spoken and humble woman. Her name is Norlen. Five frequencies named Sri Pune (pronounced “Shree Punay”) offer messages of love and wisdom daily. Here is a message from August 8, 2023:

Yellow Light Frequency

There is a development in the structure of light at this time. This development delivers a frequency which contributes to humanity’s rays of light consciousness.  We seek to develop these rays of frequency in order to connect the heart to the mind. Heart consciousness must prevail.

There is a wonderful establishment of light. It is called the embellishment of the yellow structure of humanity. This structure is a frequency of golden yellow light. This golden yellow light brings rays of sunlight which absorbs into the body. This frequency establishes a foundation for the body to adjust to the new frequencies. We would like to establish the connection with the yellow frequencies of light. There exists a level of discernment which plays upon the humanity’s consciousness at this time. Humanity is at the beginning levels of acceptance of reality as it exists now. This present moment returns to our consciousness. We usher in the consciousness of the present moment. Reality consists of 7 thought processes. These 7 thought processes contains information for the evolvement of the soul. Returning to the beginning. What is the beginning of time? Time is an illusion. Time is a thought. Where is the beginning of thought? Where is the beginning of thought when there is only this present moment? This is the conundrum. How can we explain the beginning of thought when there is no beginning and there is no end? We have our work cut out for us today. Expand on the idea that the present moment contains many layers. These layers wrap around each other. This connection with each other relays information consistently with each other. This allows each present moment to gather information from the past and the future. How then can there be a beginning? We would like to explain that the beginning is a representation of the past. This past representation allows for a beginning place in a NOW moment. We allow the circumstances of enlightenment to take place at this time of the NOW moment. As the NOW moment is enlightenment. We would like to explain the circumstances of reality and how it exists on this plane of illusionment. There is a separation from humanity’s consciousness; there is a division of the mind and the heart. The mind and the heart must collaborate. When the heart is disconnected from the mind, illusion results. In order to reconnect the mind to the heart. The mind must relinquish control to the heart. The heart knows all truth. Allow the heart to rule.

This transcription is from before Norlen was videoing the sessions.
