What we bring forth

In a recent meditation I was shown the power of bringing forth what we choose, what we intend. Orientation and presence make a difference in our world.

The way we present ourselves impacts those around us, how they perceive their lives, their experiences, their values. In turn, what they bring forth impacts those around them. In this way, we can be a force of opening, of being, of transformation in this world we inhabit.

If we are accepting of others, we bring forth in them confidence, courage, and the ability to accept themselves.

If we are inquiring about life, we learn, we become more and more open to all that exists. By our interest and inquiries, we show others the value that they hold, and we may inspire them to be m0re inquiring themselves.

If we are grateful, we live with the fullness of limitless blessings. When we express gratitude, we open the door to this orientation and inspire gratitude in others. We assist them in opening to joy and delight.

If we are humble, we show others their value. They learn how to walk with a willingness to serve, placing even the most challenged beings in a light of value, of teacher, of the sacred. In this way, we teach humility and the sacredness of all beings.

If we are open-hearted, we come to love all others, to see value in each being, and to help in whatever way is possible, including simply by our presence and understanding and caring nature. By demonstrating this, we teach those who are open to learn the path of compassion.

If we see and seek the similarities we share with others, we become allies, family, and harmoniousness itself.

If we honor differences, we inspire others to open to a wider variety of individuals, perspectives, and ways of being. This adds to the release of fear of the unknown.

As we elevate ourselves in these ways, continually reaching higher …we assist others to elevate themselves and our world to transform.

The above list is simply a few examples of what is possible to be, to teach, to express. The potential for elevation is limitless.

We can extend our awareness to animals in this way as well, extending our wellbeing to them, and modeling harmony.

When we come to an awareness of other beings, we can expand our knowledge, our acceptance, our high regard.

I recently met a woman who saw and interacted with fairies as a child. She learned/was taught to un-see them and now hopes to return to a broader vision.

There is so much that we are not aware of. Some exist with simply of wisp of physicality, easily receding. Some beings have powers that we humans do not display …yet.

As we choose openness, our reality expands each day.

About my last post …and about me

I reread my last post and it feels unbalanced. I’m not sure it’s expressing what I want to express. It took me a very long time to write and perhaps that should have been a clue.

Also – I have been told by a friend that the post before – that I wrote about my closest sister in age – was less than of the highest integrity. This friend always speaks his truth. We do not always agree on what truth exactly is, but I do take note of his words.

I made a small adjustment, but I’m not sure that it is enough. More review ahead.

I now see that I have not painted my far away sister in a kind light. And that I actually painted her in an unkind light. (I have removed this post.)

And I woke this morning with the fear that I am using this particular story, and possibly writing other posts, in a self-aggrandizing way.

Yesterday I discussed this with my kind and wise youngest sister, who mentioned the negative aspect of memoirs, which I tend to stay away from myself.

These family posts – are they not memoirs? Although there is a soul searching aspect to memoirs that I do appreciate. But one has to get it right. I don’t think I have gotten it right.

I have been attmepting to show myself. My imperfect and challenged self. But my family members cannot be used as fodder for this goal.

I have removed the post about my far away sister. I will have to look at all of my posts about family members more closely and take the appropriate action.

It’s not that I have a huge following. I don’t. But what am I doing here?

This blogging aspect came with my website. And I love to write. And if I claim to help others, it seems I should share myself in some way.

It’s my intent to share the contents of my soul.

My life, my past, the way it has formed me – are surely of my soul. But …there are sevral things at play here. I clearly have to sort them out.

It is and has been my intention to write with humility.

The first email that showed up when I got online this morning had this title Ego Death: Restore Your True Self-Identity. Ha ha thank you very much Creator, Universe, Source, Spirit, God/Goddess. I signed up for the class.

And thank you to my friend who holds truth. And to my youngest sister. I am extremely blessed to have people around me who call me out when I go astray.
